Plantronics M50 help request
Hi Listers, After lurking on the list a long time, reading the bluetooth threads, I finally purchased a Plantronics M50. I'm hoping a few experienced users can assist me with a few questions. Or, if someone has a link to a electronic user's guide I'd be glad to read up. My first question is how do I use Siri with the M50? I press the button on my phone and hear the familiar sound but it never responds to my voice. My second question is can I pair the device to my Mac book at the same time? I read in a description that it can pair to two phones so I thought why not one phone and my Mac book Pro? If not at the same time can I switch quickly? If so how? This seems like a great device. I just tried Seri with the headset. First, there are two different beeps before I heard the Seri sound. Then when I asked a question and double tapped the screen, there was a dialogue box asking me to choose the Plantronics M50. After I double tapped this selection, Seri worked fine. When I started Seri, nothing was said, but I could see there was something in the center of the screen. So, I moved my finger around until I heard use Plantronics M50. I double tapped the screen and it worked with Seri. Now, that being said, I have had four different headsets and none work very well with Seri or dictation. Usually what happens is, I try to use the headset, I get some gibberish, I say some profanities, and turn off the headset. I find the headsets are great for listening to voice over and phone calls.
