Unable to change word pronounciation for the Kindle App.

Changing teh pronounciation for the space bar in IOS11, how?

Pronounciation.
Hi Everyone; I noticed that on my iPhone 5s with iOS 8.13, voiceover is pronouncing words in a different way. I'm using the standard USA English language. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
