Do you pay for dropbox or just use the free version? iCloud gives you 5 gig free and then as stated it's about a dollar per month for 50 gig of space. I did turn off photos in iCloud and also turned the apps off that were using iCloud that I didn't want to use right now. I did upload some photos to my dropbox but I couldn't figure out how to get all the videos there that I wanted to keep. Any suggestions about that, would be grately appreciated. Hi Shirley, You can get 50 GB of space on iCloud for a dollar a month, so that may be the easiest option. Otherwise, you can turn off Photos in your iCloud settings. That will stop them being stored in iCloud. There's also an iCloud Storage setting that lets you see how much data different apps are using and lets you see your backups.
