To delete individual episodes: Just double and hold on each episode you want to delete. When I refresh all my feeds to update, I just find it easiest to then go right into the downloads tab and then activate the pause button. My feeds will update with downloads ready for download and then I go down the list and delete the ones I’m not interested in downloading and then activate the pause button again which now says enable. Hi Chasity, After you open Downcast, double tap on the Downloads tab (second from the right along the bottom) and there is a Pause Download Queue button at the top just after the Downloads heading. This will pause all downloads. Once you tab this the button will turn into Enable Download Queue. Once the downloads are Paused, double tap the Edit button at the top left of the Downloads screen. Now you have a delete switch to the left of each item/podcast episode in the queue, you can double tap on that and double tap again when it asks you to confirm. This way you can delete all episodes from the download queue. If you don't want certain Podcasts or any Podcasts to download automatically, you can either change your Global settings or individual Podcast settings to never download unless you tell it to. That or be able to do a double tap and hold to bring up the delete prompt like is already available in the individual feed folders. That double tap and hold and then swipe can sometimes be unreliable and a hassle if you’re just trying to get through the list of available downloads quickly. Alas… Downcast is still an awsome app though. Questions about Downcast
Hi. I have some questions about downcast. If I have not opened that app in about a month or more, and I do not want every single episode of every single podcast I am subscribed to to download, how can I stop that right away? When I open the app, things automatically start to download. What if I just want the newest episode of each podcast to download, or what if I don't want anything to download at all and I just want to choose which podcasts I want to catch up on and which episodes I want to download after not opening the app in a while?
