Lock your phone completely.
Then just hold down the home button to ask seri the question what is
the tempature.

Then follow the steps as I stated earlier.
I have my phone to have the finger print or the 4 didget code.
I have made sure I have all the security systems active.

I just tried this on an iPhone 5 with iOS8.3. I was prompted to
enter my passcode, as expected. Are you certain your device is
running the latest iOS release? Do you have it set to not require a
passcode within a certain amount of time after being locked? If so,
are you waiting until that time passes before trying this?

To do the trick is to ask Seri what the temperature is.
In the lower right hand corner pass the times of the day with the
temperature there is a weather channel button.

Click on the button that will open the internet or safari.
Once you open safari, hit the home button to close out of the net
and it takes you back to your home screen or back to the desktop
as I like to call it lol.

I have the Iphone 6+. Not sure if this will work on other phones.
I mean like the 5S and 6.
