Re: A delimma

2013-04-21 Thread Ioana Gandrabur
Hi Simon,

If I understand correctly what you're talking about these are just suggestions
and they are not filled in as addresses in your message. You have to tap the
one you want and only that one will be added in the appropriate field of your
message. Hope this makes sense,

Take care,

I have been trying to delete them, but they seem to be stubborn and want to
stay on the list.

Re: A delimma

2013-04-22 Thread Alan Paganelli
Once you've made your choice, they remain incase you want to CC others. The
app is only pulling up your contacts who match the first few letters of the
name. For example, suppose you want to text or email Joe Blow. Depending on
how you have your contacts sorted, will depend on what you enter. I have my
contacts sorted first name first, last name, last. So If I wanted to email or
text myself, I would only type in the first several letters of my name. When I
type the letter A, all contacts starting with the letter A are shown. Flick
right to move through the list and double tap the one you want. Typing in the
second letter shortens the list. Entering in the third letter shortens it even
more etc.

Hi all, you know when you compose a message, you start putting a email
address but it finds other people's address on the list as you scroll down.
How in blue blazes do you remove them, I select the delete key but the
addresses seem to come back.

Hi Simon,

You can't delete those suggestions. If you want some contacts deleted, you
have to go to contacts to delete them.
