hi, everyone, I couldn't agree with you more! I think the accessibility people
at Apple are very knowledgeable and helpful. I have no complaints about them
whatsoever. Take care. Esther

Often only the problems with Apple Accessibility are aired on the list. This
time I want to give a shout out and cudos to them.

I bought a 7 watch. Three times yesterday I called them, and received just
stellar help. The first call I thought I understood how to wipe my watch 4
using what I was told. What I was looking for was just not there. Second call
the gentleman worked and worked with his phone with VO and finally found what I
needed to do. As an aside it was so simple I have no idea why I didn't think of
it.

Now I have my old watch wiped but no matter what I did with the new watch I
couldn't make it talk. Thus I could not set up manually and I sure had no luck
getting the watch in the pairing window. Back I went to Accessibility. This
time the gentleman I spoke with guided me easily through the setup, and we had
a nice chat at the same time.

So, if there is need for assistance don't hesitate to contact them. The last
gentleman told me Accessibility is a very high department at Apple in a
conversation we were having about how he ended up in Accessibility. So,
obviously Apple takes it seriously. A problem I brought up to them with Books
was fixed because I brought it up to them. They really do listen to us and try
to help.

Thanks for this. I know, for me, I don't put the positive stuff out there like
I should. This is a good reminder.

Re: A thanks to Accessibility

2021-11-12 Thread Daniel MacDonald
I holehartedly agree. I have spent hours with th for various issues. When I
called regarding my AirPort Exstream Basestation, they stayed on the line as
the wireless department doesn’t do accessibility calls for some reason. Then
when a called about Logic Pro, accessibility again stayed on the line when the
Pro apps team was contacted. They are amazing and I have nothing bad to say. In
fact, they spoiled me because or their exalent technicle support. I called
PayPal a number of years ago now, and they were not helpful, telling me to
press the green button even though I told PayPal I am blind. Apple
Accessibility are great, but don’t expect the high level of support and passion
with other companies. Apple accessibility is the gold standard and some
mainstream companies do not get us.

Apple accessibility is great. If I have a problem or question, I can
usually always get someone who really does a great job at helping me.
I just ask Siri to call Support on my iPhone 8 and I'm connected with
accessibility.
