RE: Aggravating Issue with Messaging
When I ask Siri to send a text to someone's mobile number it's done correctly. However, if I type in the name using either the focus 14 or the onscreen keyboard it defaults to the home number, or in some cases, to the email address. Is there something in settings I need to change? Thanks. God bless! Hi all. I'm also having some issues with sending texts with the latest update. When I type the name of the person I want to send a text to, the default never seems to be their mobile number. I can get to the mobile number by flicking all the way to the right and double tapping the more info button. Then I can flick to their mobile number. Start by deleting the thread in the messaging app where it is using her email address. Then I would suggest you go into the messaging app and start a new thread to this person by starting a new message and select the button to add a contact in the To field.
