Janet, keep in mind that this could have just been some glitch which happened 
to you and while it's frustrating and unfortunate, there will always be stuff 
like that happening.
You may also want to check if your Bose speaker is able to take firmware 
updates as updating devices if it can be done is also very important.

To consider is checking if there’s new firmware update for your speaker. I know 
you can do this for compatible Bose devices via Bose connect app on iPhone. 
Other than that I imagine you removed the device from your bluetooth settings 
and repaired it already.

Hi Feliciano,
I've checked all those Bluetooth settings, and all is well.  I've used this 
Bose Speaker with Apple Music for at least 5 years with no problem, until I 
updated to 16.2, in which I  regret!  I've signed out of the Apple Music App, 
and signed back in with no different results.  I completely understand minor 
bugs, minor changes, but when it gets to the point of having to erase your 
entire phone, and still the phone doesn't work like it should, there  is 
something seriously wrong!

I understand your frustration as I too have experienced this problem. First, I 
would check the setting that your speaker is set as via Bluetooth settings and 
more info for your speaker. Set that device to speaker as voiceover can behave 
differently if it's set to another setting.
Secondly, I would recommend that you add audio destination to your rotor as 
your voiceover speech can be sent to the speaker when many prefer voiceover 
speech to be on the iPhone and audio via speaker. You can add audio destination 
via your settings- Settings, accessibility, voiceover followed by rotor.

would check the setting that your speaker is set as via Bluetooth settings and
