It is possible that there are two devices -- say, an IPAD and an Iphone --
turned on at the same time in your house. If that's case, and your keyboard
is listed as being paired with both devices, the keyboard can't decide which
one to pair with.
I had this problem at a few months ago and  it freaked me out until a friend
suggested I check to see if both my IPOD and Iphone were runing at the same
time.
