RE: Bizarre Battery Issue
I don't think screen bright ness will do this especially since she already said the phone shows the same time for standby and usage. There is something that got hung up and prevents the phone from going to sleep properly and I think her idea to go to the Apple Store is best. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of rajmund Sent: Wednesday, February 1, 2017 5:02 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Bizarre Battery Issue hi, also, what's the screen brightness at? RE: Bizarre Battery Issue
Well, then I guess it's time for a complete restore and to set up the phone as a new phone, if you restore a backup there is a good chance whatever causes this will return. At least I would first set it up as a new phone, put back only the most important apps and keep an eye on battery performance for 2 or 3 days. If everything is good you could try and rstore your backup and if the problem returns you then know for sure that something got messed up, at that point you have to restore one last time, set up as a new phone again and start from scratch. So, I'm still having this issue even after switching the apps off. I left my phone on but didn't use it for about four hours and it lost 20 percent of its battery.
