Re: Bluetooth keyboard commands question

2020-07-04 Thread deidre muccio
I am finally on the Apple site reading through a document on Bluetooth keyboard
commands. This is extremely helpful. It’s like Google when I have a question I
never default to use Google or go to Apple. I’m not fond of going to the
Internet To fish through numerous links forinformation even though it’s sitting
right there. My mistake I guess. At any rate I hadn’t understood how to toggle
quick NAV on and off from what I read and some of the posts here but now I see
that I have to press the left and right arrow down together! How much simpler
could that be? I am further along on my way!

To go to the home screen, it is control+options+h
Hit that twice quickly and you have the app switcher.
You should be able to then do an up arrow or options up arrow to close the
app.

Options right arrow is next screen, options left arrow is previous screen.
You can not go to a particular app unless you use Siri.
For me, with the K480, pressing and holding f1 activates Siri.
Those are all in the list of commands on my web site and on Apple's.

RE: Bluetooth keyboard commands question

2020-07-03 Thread Simon A Fogarty
There is some times a home button key on the more mac / apple specific
keyboards,

My brydge BT keyboard for my ipad mini 5 has a home button where the escape key
is and pressing that twice brings up app switcher,
Or the once for the home screen,

I can also use the vo keys plus h
I know there is another way as well but it's not something I use often but it's
there.

Yeah there seem to be at least two other ways to activate the home button. And
they’re on different parts of the keyboard.

Yes, I see all five pages now. The first instruction on how to get into the app
switcher and close it is a little confusing but it probably won’t be when I do
it.
Thanks. It’s nice to be able to use the keyboard also in combination with just
a very quick touch gesture so I’m glad that’s possible. I hadn’t assumed that
that would be the case. I thought I might have to choose one or the other when
operating the phone.

Re: Bluetooth keyboard commands question

2020-07-03 Thread deidre muccio
That’s odd, I only saw a few key instructions using just the options key. I
guess I’ll look again. Maybe the document for some odd reason got cut off when
I downloaded it. Not sure why I didn’t see them. I thought I had gotten to the
bottom of your document. Ended with a vertical scrollbar say it was at 100%.

2020-07-03 Thread Richard Turner
To go to the home screen, it is control+options+h
Hit that twice quickly and you have the app switcher.
You should be able to then do an up arrow or options up arrow to close the app.
Options right arrow is next screen, options left arrow is previous screen.
You can not go to a particular app unless you use Siri.
For me, with the K480, pressing and holding f1 activates Siri.
Those are all in the list of commands on my web site and on Apple's.

Subject: Bluetooth keyboard commands question

Hello,
I was looking through the list of commands for keyboard to operate my iPhone
and I didn’t find any even with practice through help for closing an app or
moving through the app switcher although I think there was one that I came
across had language of what the command was called was a little confusing.
I also didn’t run into commands like go to the next page. I’m not sure if
there are easy ways to let’s say also get to things like a particular app like
Contacts or Mail. where would I find an extensive list for discovering all that?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
