RE: Chrome question on iPhone

2012-07-29 Thread AnonyMouse
I would be curious as well if anyone knows of an easy way to do this? From
my experience with Chrome on the IOS is that on a non VO mode you just take
the page and flick it to the left to close the page. With the VO mode on you
can't do this. I've tried just about every gesture I could try and had no
success. That is the only place in the Chrome that I found to be not
accessible. Darn shame!

me too! I've tried doubling-tab on the ShowTab(n) button, and then click double
on the Settings button, then I just saw the CloseAllTab button. I couldn't find
any way to close each tab.

Re: Chrome question on iPhone

2012-07-29 Thread Damashe Thomas
Hi,
The only I found to close tabs is to tap the tabs button, then tap settings on
the screen that shows your tabs. You then get the option to close all tabs,
which I understand may not be what you want to do each time. I have
experimented with different swipe gestures on the screen that show your tabs,
i.e. selecting a tab with VO and doing a double tap and hold and swiping. Using
this method, I was able to close individual tabs, though it wasn't always the
tab I wanted to close and eclosing any single tab this way was hit or miss at
best for me.
Besides not being able to swipe between tabs, when tapping the open tabs button
you are given a list of tabs which are not labeled at all. VO just announces
tab or tab demned. I sincerely hope these issues are resolved in the next
update.
