Hello,

There has been a VoiceOver volume bug present in iOS ever since 7.1 or a
little earlier. I've noticed it many, many times.

There are instances, for example, when after dictating a text message,
VoiceOver's volume is thereafter reduced. Strangely enough, this is not a
consistent bug which is probably why it has not been resolved.

The only way I have discovered to restore the volume is to restart the phone
or, either make or receive a phone call.

Has this not been discussed on this list before?

I've been away for a while.

Hello Isaac,

It's difficult to say but certainly sense iOS 7 was released.

I've talk to a couple of others who have noticed the same problem, from
time-to-time. I should mention that I primarily use the included Apple
headset instead of third-party devices. This could be a sound profile
glitch.

I have noticed a slight change in volume, sometimes, after listening to
Downcast, also.
