RE: Is there anyway to back up bard books on a phone that you’re getting rid of?

2022-08-02 Thread Richard Turner
To add to what Alan and others have said, BARD isn't like other apps, the only
way to get content onto the phone is through the app itself.
And, since now their books are on a fast server, it takes very little time to
download even lengthy audio books.
It may seem tedious and that is why they have a wish list; I don't put anything
on my phone unless I intend to read it in the near future. I have lots on my
wish list, which is connected to your account, and not on the specific phone.

Re: Is there anyway to back up bard books on a phone that you’re getting rid of?

2022-08-02 Thread Alan Lemly
Steve,

Yes, we're sure you cannot transfer downloaded BARD content from an old to a
new iDevice. Accessing previously downloaded content is the best way to refresh
memory on what might have been on the old device but the content has to be
downloaded again.

Re: Is there anyway to back up bard books on a phone that you’re getting rid of?

2022-07-29 Thread Joshua Hendrickson
The previous downloads never works for me in bard express. It is
always one book short somewhere and I can't trust it. I never use it
if I need to redownload a book. I've got so many bard books, that I
won't download them again as I have over 1400 bard books on my iPhone
8. I'll just use my iPhone 8 to read my bard books. However, bard
mobile does work fine on my iPhone 13 pro max.

At least there is the previously downloaded link or button in the get books
section of the bard app, that way your friend won't have to search for each
book in order to redownload it. It does make it a bit easier, and downloads
from bard don't take a huge amount of time for each download.
