Re: KNFB Reader Pricing

2017-10-04 Thread Christopher Chaltain
My understanding is the same as Karl's. I'm not sure why people have to
jump to the conclusion that there's something going on here or that
anyone is playing games. I usually just take it at face value that
Google is discounting an accessibility app for no other reason then
helping out some blind people and getting some good will or press out of
the deal. I'm happy for the blind people who can take advantage of this
offer, and I don't resent it if I can't myself. The NFB also lumps it's
share of praise on Apple as well.

with Apple is because of Apple policies and isn’t under control of the

There is definitely some sort of deal with Google and the NFB. For the
last couple of years, Google has been a "champion" of Accessibility
according to the NFB. I don't think Apple place those games, hence no
price break for Apple customers.

I suggest you read the fine print.

As I understand it, you have a free trial period with Android,
then the price is the same unless you come across a sale at
some point.
