I also just received the Amazon Basics keyboard so many on this list are

that
it takes about 25 seconds for my iPod to pickup the Bluetooth signal if I
turn off the keyboard then turn it back on. I listened to Raul's demo,

his keyboard turned on within 5 seconds or less. Is there a way to
increase
the Bluetooth connection time?

I had an interesting shopping experience at Amazon.com. I purchased the
keyboard, and they delivered it the very same day--that's some great
service. I thought it would cost me an arm and a leg, but normal UPS
ground
delivery was only $1.50 less and would take 3 or 5 days. For same day

I had an interesting shopping experience at Amazon.com. I purchased the

It doesn't give a lot of information, which you probably don't need
since you've seen the podcasts, but if you're just looking for a quick
reference of VoiceOver bluetooth keyboard commands then I just go to
Apple's page at http://help.apple.com/iphone/5/voiceover/en/iph6c494dc6.html

I don't have this saved as a bookmark myself, but it's easy enough to
find with a Google search.

RE: List of Bluetooth keyboard commands for iOS

2014-05-22 Thread Alan Lemly
The following web page by Ed Summers and Diane Brauner has an excellent iOS
VoiceOver and iOS quick reference guide including bluetooth keyboard
commands:

http://support.sas.com/misc/accessibility/education/ios/quickref.html

It is current as of November 26, 2012 and iOS 6.01 and is very well laid
out.

Isaac and all.
They are regular steps, nicely explained. I had a feeling there are keyboard
shortcuts for quickly sending and forwarding emails, such as in Outlook,
control + shift + l etc.

Any ideas?

The VO key is a short hand way of saying hold down the control and
option keys at the same time. This would be control and alt on a Windows

I also just received the Amazon Basics keyboard so many on this list are

that
it takes about 25 seconds for my iPod to pickup the Bluetooth signal if I
turn off the keyboard then turn it back on. I listened to Raul's demo,
and
his keyboard turned on within 5 seconds or less.

For same day
delivery, $1.50 more was definitely worth it. I don't know how Amazon.com
could pull this off so quickly, but they did. Must have been one of their
new octo-copters which flew over my house and dropped the thing off.
.

Again, any help with a list of Bluetooth keyboard commands will be
greatly
appreciated!

Re: List of Bluetooth keyboard commands for iOS

2014-10-31 Thread Isaac Hebert
The control and option keys are the vo keys in other words there called the
voiceover keys.
The option key is the second key from the space bar and the control key is the
third key to the left of the space bar.
When the vo keys the control and option keys are held down you can do things
like vo left arrow moves to the previous item and vo right arrow move to next
item.
