When I do that I'm only seeing one song, which was my latest purchase and
the U2 album.  Over the years I have purchased much more than that, but
that's all that's available.

As for playing purchased music, go to the Music app in the playlists tab,
and look for Purchased. Double tap on that and a list of purchased songs
will appear as with any other playlist.

The easiest way to move 25 tracks (out of thousands) to your phone
would be to creat a playlist on the computer in iTunes, then sync that
playlist to your phone.
