RE: Native iOS clock, alarms and YocktoClock

2015-01-16 Thread Rose Combs
They changed it, snooze is always turned on unless you turn it off and I hate
it. I always forget to edit and take it out and then wonder why every few
minutes my phone is making noise and generally I am nowhere near it to fix it.
I wish it was turned off with options to turn it on like it was in earlier
versions before the past two.

Hi All,

When I've used the native alarm, I had to turn on snooz. Then when I would
press one of the up/down buttons the alarm would again go off. If I
remember right, it was something like in 5 minutes. I don't remember if
that interval was adjustable.

I use an app called Speak to Snooze. When the alarm goes off it
recognizes 2 voice commands, "alarm off," and "snooze alarm." It
works pretty well. I picked it up when it was free. I suppose it is a

Thanks guys. I will try it tomorrow morning. I like the native Clock
app for alarms since you can choose either the alarm wake up sounds or
specific songs. Waking up to songs from my own music collection is
pretty fun, especially since I can assign a different song each day.

Pressing the lock unlock button when the alarm is sounding will cause the clock
to go into snooze mode. The phone is still unlocked or awake, but it will go
