RE: Question about sinking an ipod with an iphone.

2022-04-29 Thread Christopher Chaltain
I also like doing this as well. When I get a new device, I like to start from
scratch and rearrange things based on what I learned from my earlier device.
Obviously I can see why not everyone would want to do this though.

On Android it was even more interesting since you had more options, like how
many rows and columns you had on a page, and you could even be more flexible
with where you moved apps, such as just putting apps in the four corners or
maybe just along the edges.

Moving apps on my iPhone is kind of fun. I like deciding where I want some of
my most used apps to go. I have apps like bard mobile, audible, and voice
dream reader all together on the second page of apps on my iPhone. I used my
Hable One keyboard to help me move some apps and it was super easy.

Re: Question about sinking an ipod with an iphone.

2022-04-29 Thread Barbara Stahl
Well my problem was that I had already gotten my apps arranged the way that I
wanted them then the stupid editing feature caused me to accidentally move them
to places that I didn't want them to go. I tried using the screen and my
fingers to move them back and I only managed to make things worse. I was
really hoping that there was a way to get the ipod to automatically synk itself
with my iphone like through the icloud backup or something.

Yes, the same way you got the iPhone rearranged.

You have to manually move them unless someone knows something I don’t.

Subject: Question about sinking an ipod with an iphone.

So I finally got some sighted assistance in moving the apps on my iphone in to
the arrangement that I am used to. I have now disabled the setting in voiceover
that allows editing of the apps on the home screen, so my apps should now stay
where I want them from now on. However, I recently purchased an ipod touch 7
and during the setup it adopted the app arrangement that was currently on my
iphone which was the one that I did not like and had created accidentally
through inadvertent editing of the home screen.

Is there any way to get my ipod app arrangement or setup to match the
arrangement of my apps on my iphone without using itunes on the computer?
