Go into Notification settings, double tap on show previews.
Change that to never.
You can still have sounds on for each app, but no text should be included in 
the notification after that.

I wish the notifications would not interrupt what I am doing. That is very 
annoying. Let me hear the tone and I will look when I am ready. For example, I 
was posting an audio message on the Vorail app when my monthly notification 
from Discover came in. I didn’t realize the info about my statement went into 
the message for everyone on the app to hear. I was very embarrassed! 
Fortunately, I didn’t have a high balance. Now I put my phone in “do not 
disturb” when I am on the app!

disappear, it remains onscreen, until you discard it via flick up. I thought it 
would be fixed on iOS13.4, but still not!
