Belated thanks for trying to find this curiously missing option.
I might try other apps and will let the list know if some might allow renaming.
I hardly use the computer  so hope to find alternatives.

The Move option is still there, but there is no way to rename a file or

I just had a look in the Dropbox app and I also could not see a way to rename a 
file. Easiest way in my book is just to go into the Dropbox folder on the PC 
and rename the file to whatever you want.
