RE: Returning to AnOld version Of an app ATT navigator

2014-08-17 Thread M. Taylor
Hello Brian,

Your question is simple but the solution depends a great deal on how you and
your wife purchase your apps and how your respective iTunes Libraries are
setup.

Having said all of this, the short answer, assuming that all of your
proverbial ducks are in a row, on your wife's phone and in the iTunes
Library that she uses do the following:

1.
Make sure that no version of the app is on her iPhone.

2.
From within the iTunes Library on the computer to which she syncs, delete
the app entry from the apps area of iTunes.

3.
From the iTunes file menu, select Add and browse to the desired .IPA file.
This will add an entry item in the iTunes App's area of iTunes that points
to the old version of the app.

4.
Connect the iPhone to iTunes and follow the normal procedure for installing
an app to the phone from iTunes.

Bryan, remember, these are merely the broad strokes that assume you have the
correct purchasing and permission rights to everything.

Good Luck,

Mark

I have the old version of this app on my computer in iTunes and want to put
it on my wife's iPhone.
How do I do this? I forgets. Grin!
All the best, Brian
