RE: Saving Text Messages on Computer?

2013-05-09 Thread Alan Lemly
When I selected myself from the iPhone contacts as the recipient of the
forwarded text message, I got another text message containing the forwarded
item. The next time I did it, I put in another email address manually and
got the email which included the forwarded text message.

RE: Saving Text Messages on Computer?

2013-05-09 Thread Alan Lemly
Thanks, Carol. That is very helpful. I've also found that from within the
message conversations, you can select edit at the top right of the screen
and individually mark those you want and then select forward at the bottom
right of the screen to forward them to an email address. This does work but
it can be time consuming if the thread has a lot of messages you want to
keep.

I ultimately decided to pony up $20 and bought the MobileSyncBrowwser
program which has both Apple and PC versions. This program allows you to
extract messages, notes, phone call history, etc. from the iPhone's backup
files on your PC to export to other formats on your computer. It works very
nicely.

Re: Saving Text Messages on Computer?

2013-05-08 Thread Carol Pearson
As I understand it, we're looking for a good way to transfer texts to email.
So, as I suggested earlier, we start by going to the text that we want to
transfer and, having gone to edit, we select that text copying it to clipboard.
Now you're in the mailer and insert your email Address to go to. The text that
you insert into the text field of the email only includes the text that was
sent in the message.

Perhaps I have misunderstood what is being asked here, and if so I apologise.

Perhaps someone else can explain it better!

Hello Sharonda, it is supposed to send you an email and also depends on whether
you use your email that you sent it to transfer iMessage. What I've done is
have a separate email from my bloody and I have a separate email from my emails
emails. I'm absented to the one that I do my regular emails with and I received
it.

This information could be correct, but some people find the Penasha shirt hard
to do. I've seen many many thread on the Pinechester. So I think the easiest
way to do this, would be at the edit button, select the ones you want, then hit
forward put in the email address then hit send. I hope I've helped you if you

Re: Saving Text Messages on Computer?

2013-05-08 Thread Carol Pearson
Open the text at the screen that you want to save, then take the rotor round
to the edit section and one of those options you have is to select all. Once
you have done this you can copy to clipboard, then go to an email and paste it
there.

Hope that helps
