No, I mean tap to wake.
In settings, in the search box at the top, type tap to wake to find that
setting.

If you wanted to stop from going between portrait and landscape, you need to
lock the orientation. That is performed in control center.

2018-09-05 Thread 'Simon W' via VIPhone
Well to keep it from going to portrait or landscape that’s in another setting
of which you can access to Waze one is where you can touch the screen where it
says the time, you can flick up with three fingers to get to it, or there’s a
setting in your notifications settings I believe. For me though, I keep it in
portrait.

Re: Screen Lock.

2018-09-05 Thread Jim Weiss
If you wanted to stop from going between portrait and landscape, you need to
lock the orientation. That is performed in control center.

I have it set to 5 minutes before it locks. Low power mode is not enabled.
However, The phone
locks well before the 5 minute timeout. What else do I need to turn on or off

RE: screen lock seems to ignore user settings

2015-10-22 Thread M. Taylor
Hello,

Well, I can tell you that the phone respects every screen lock setting I
choose. That is to say, when I set the screen to lock after 4 minutes, it does
not lock until 4 minutes have passed. When I then set it to lock after 30
seconds, so, too, does it perform.

okay, to answer the current questions, low power can be found under settings,
then the battery button is about half way down. Push the battery button, then
you will see low power. I am not sure about the full screen mode situation,
but I will see if I can duplicate it. Now for the questions that follows
specific subject line, I believe the unlock issue is an ios bug, because I got
the same results on my 5s. Also had problems rating apps in the app store. If
it hasn't been done already, this might need to go to apple support
accessibility. h

Re: screen lock seems to ignore user settings

2015-10-22 Thread Sherrie
I agree that it ignores user settings but my problem with my 6S is that half
the time it does not lock at all. I had it set for 5 minutes and changed it
to 4 but no difference. Now that I have upgraded to the 6S from my old 5 I
want it to lock since the fingerprint unlock works great! Haven't installed
9.1 yet since i wanted to check on the list to see if there were any major
problems first.

Subject: screen lock seems to ignore user settings

I have it set to 5 minutes before it locks. Low power mode is not enabled.
However, The phone
locks well before the 5 minute timeout. What else do I need to turn on or
off

Re: screen lock seems to ignore user settings

2015-10-22 Thread 'Eleanor Roberts' via VIPhone
Hi all

2 quick questions. Firstly, how do you enable low power/power-saving mode?
Secondly, every time I've read an e-mail and return to my inbox VO says "switch
to full-screen mode". What does this mean, and how do you go about doing so?

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks.

Eleanor
