RE: Short battery life on iPhone 5C
Hi Andrew, There are as many answers to your question as there are iPhone 5 users. It is totally dependant on the use. You did say that you use it a few hours a day but did not say anything about what you were doing during these few hours. I find that using it for a few hours day will require of me to charge it daily. Is that how it is for everyone? I've followed Applevis tips on making sure my battery is not being drained unnecessarily. I've switched most of the location services, reduced screen brightness, switched off automatic app updates and app refreshing, etc. I'm a bit surprised because I don't think I could use my iPhone all day without actually having to charge it half way through. RE: Short battery life on iPhone 5C
Hi Andrew, IPhone 5 has very short battery life as far as I know. I have to charge it everyday, I use skype, whats App, and messages besides phone. Towards evening I have Twenty percent of battery power. And if I use Prizmo, before afternoon My phone will be warning me saying Low battery inspite of me switching my phone of at nights. I don't know how it is for others. Re: Short battery life on iPhone 5C
Hi Andrew. Well, I don't think so it is something special in the iPhone 5. I had an iPhone 4, and it happened, later I used and iPhone 5, but it wasn't my, and it happened, now with my iPhone 5s, it still happen. iPhone is a device that use a lot of power to perform all kind of sensors, and features that the phone has. You can for example if you are in a quiet place, tell siri, Bluetooth off, or if you are going out, you can tell siri, wiFi off, and this kind of things helps a little bit, but normally I charge my iPhone every evening. It is a customary, now, and for me is normal. Maybe when I bought my first iPhone, years ago, it was annoying to me, but now no. - Original Message - From: "rubyalphonse" To: Sent: Sunday, November 17, 2013 8:12 AM Subject: RE: Short battery life on iPhone 5C Hi Andrew, IPhone 5 has very short battery life as far as I know. Re: Short battery life on iPhone 5C
Ruby, Just a suggestion, but perhaps with Prizmo you have location based services turned on? I am not quite sure what the point of this is, however, I turn that off and Prizmo doesn't drain my battery in the same way. Hi Sandy, I didn't know that, thank you, I will try to turn Location Base service. I wonder where that'll be, I will search for it in the settings. Thank you again.
