RE: Test, and questions

2013-11-11 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hi Tessa,

I bought an album on my phone a while back and while all 10 songs downloaded
on my phone only song 10 of 10 downloaded in iTunes on my computer.
I first went to the Store menu in iTunes and tried the option "Check for
available Downloads", but it kept telling me "All purchases have been
downloaded for this Apple ID".
I then send an email to itunesstoresupp...@apple.com and explained the
problem. It's important to tell them exactly which album and the order
number and I find it is easiest if you forward the receipt for the
problematic item which you should have received by email within a day or 2
of buying it. I keep all I received a reply I think the same day which
stated that they fixed the issue and I should go and again select "Check for
Available Downloads" and now when I did the album started downloading and
the other 9 songs downloaded.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: Test, and questions

Hi:
I'm wondering if my questions are actually reaching the list, I get them
back, but not a single responce, which is very unusual for this list.

One question was about incomplete albums downloaded to my phone, I
downloaded a large collection of christmas music and was told that 5 of the
songs could not be downloaded at this time. I synced my phone with my
computer and ended up with the incomplete album but now the rest of the
songs have turned up on my phone and I don't know how to get the whole thing
on to my computer.
I know next to nothing about moving music around and playlists and such so
very basic answers would be appreciated if anyone can help.
Thanks
Tessa

RE: Test, and questions

2013-11-11 Thread M. Taylor
Hello Tessa,

Your messages are getting through to the list.

I, for one, have never downloaded an entire album from iTunes Store. I'm an
Amazon MP3 man.

I did purchase a couple of episodes of the Twilight zone on my iPHone 4,
last year or so and it has been a pain in the you-know-what to keep the
files from reverting their meta data to the original configuration.

Now, of course, in the new iOS, if one does not change the settings, one can
see everything they've ever purchased.

This does not answer your question but rest assured that you're not the only
one having some concerns about transferring media from one device to
another.

I'm certain there are many on the list who are well qualified to answer your
question.

As for me, I prefer to purchase from Amazon and then import into iTunes.

Mark

2013-11-11 Thread David Chittenden
If you are using iTunes on your computer, iTunes Store will automatically let
you download the music directly to your computer so long as you are using the
same ID. If you got the music onto your iPhone through some other means, this
option would most likely not be available to you. Before making any more
suggestions, I would require more specific information.
