Sorry, not sure what you mean about the group message in the message app?

Repeat the same steps, but access the group message on the messages app when
needed. Just do not delete the conversation.

I was kinda hoping that you could just go in to a new message and then add
recipient in some way, just three finger tap down through your contacts and
double click the ones that you want to add them to the recipient box without
going back to the top of the list if that makes sense.
Really difficult to explain.
Is there also a way to create groups? For example, create a group called
family members, add my family in to that and then just email the group to email
all of my family when required.

Thanks again for the help.

Once you activate the compose button, on the to field, you can begin to type
the first couple of letters of the first contact and then if you bring your
finger down below the to field there will be a list. On that list, double tap
the contact that you want to add. Continue to add contacts the same way rather
than having to go to that contact button and the list.

2015-01-03 Thread Gary Petraccaro
You could use Siri. Say, Send a text message to name1 and name2 and name3.
Standard dictate from there.
(Obviously, use the names of the people you want in place of 1 and 2, etc.)

  Hi friends,

Does anyone know an easy way to text multiple recipients on IOS 8? At the
moment, I have to go in to messaging, compose and then select add recipient.

I add the recipient and then the phone goes back to themessage screen, I then
have to click add recipient again and go through my contacts to find the next
person. It always defaults back to the start of my contacts as well and this
is time consuming.
