Hello Scott,

Did you ever get this problem resolved or did you receive any replies from
anyone on the list?

Generally speaking, I use Windows Media player to rip albums but it may be a
better idea to use iTunes to rip them.

In the future, should you use iTunes, set your media importer to MP3. You
can do this from within the Preferences area of iTunes.

Generally speaking, whenever I import an album into iTunes, the first thing
I do is to add all of its songs to a new Playlist. I find that Playlists
are easier to control and manipulate. For example, I like all of the songs
that I rip from an old album I've had for 20 years to be in the same play
order as they were on the CD. Many times I find that I must manually
rearrange songs on a playlist to get this to happen. It's a bit
obsessive-compulsive, I know, but it matters to me.

Subject: Transferring Music to iPhone

Hi,
I just ripped seven albums to MP3, using Windows Media Player. I put all of
the MP3 files in a single folder and then imported that folder into my
iTunes library. I then synced my phone with iTunes. Only 3 of the 7 albums
showed up on my phone, even though they all show up In iTunes. I don't do
this type of thing very often (I avoid iTunes when possible) so I have no
idea what I may be doing wrong. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott Duck
