RE: Volume Buttons, Snooze and Stop Alarm?
If the phone is unlocked I see an OK button for the alarm, if not, unlocked I don't see that and then it seems to go to snooze, I then unlock the phone and when it goes off again I find the OK button. Drives me a bit crazy because if I wanted snooze on I would have set it that way. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Kliphton Sent: Thursday, October 03, 2013 7:01 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Volume Buttons, Snooze and Stop Alarm? Re: Volume Buttons, Snooze and Stop Alarm?
Ok, so I just played with setting an alarm. Volume buttons make it snooze. so does tapping anywhere on the screen. pressing unlock button turns it off. This is assuming the snooze option is turned on when the alarm is set, which Siri does by default. RE: Volume Buttons, Snooze and Stop Alarm?
If you set the alarm manually, and you turned off the snooze feature, the power button will stop the alarm in the locked screen. If you set the alarm with Siri, then snooze is on and the power button will only put it in snooze, so you have to unlock the phone to stop the alarm. That's the odd thing, though. I haven't used the unlock button recently. I'm going to see if I can find more info on alarm shortcuts.
