RE: Where do you go to check if Raise to wake is on or off, please?

2020-01-04 Thread Carolyn
Richard, that is what happened to me when I first got my SE, really drained the
battery just playing cards.

I am surprised at how easy it is to get used to not having a Home Button. I
don't think that they'll ever come back, even if they come out with a new SE -
they occupy screen space.

Along with using extra battery, it is supposed to wake up your phone when you
pick it up. But, if it is in a bag/purse, that motion can cause it to
constantly wake up, thus using extra battery.
If one did not use a passcode or face ID, it would be the same as pressing the
home button, or the slide gesture on phones without a home button.

I want to make sure that is off. The guy at Wal-Mart did not think we
got the facial ID, so I'll eventually be sure about that and get someone to
help if it is not. I just want to rule out Raise to Wake, because it uses a lot
of battery if phone in pocket and a lot of motion.

You go to Display and Brightness. Rais to wak means you can just pick up your
