Re: Where is my iPhone in iTunes?

2013-04-24 Thread MamaPeach
My boyfriend tries to open iTunes and it crashes every time. He has
uninstalled and reinstalled and still has the same problem. He has even
tried running it as an administrator. It crashes before he can click on
anything. He sees an error that says iTunes has stopped working. Windows can
check online for a solution to the problem. He is given two options: Check
online for a solution and close the program, or Close the program. When he
checks online for a solution, it searches for a few seconds and then closes
and comes up with another error message that says iTunes was closed. To help
protect your computer, date execution prevention has closed iTunes. He has
even tried disabling date execution prevention with no luck. The problem
event name is BEX.
What steps can he take to hopefully fix this. He is running Windows Vista
with iTunes 11.0.2.26. He does not use a speech program as he is sighted.

Hi Reese,
You can do a repair of the iTunes under help in the main iTunes program by
choosing Diagnostics. This will allow you to run various tests. With Jaws I
end up having to use the JawsCursor and clicking the next buttons during the
process. I'm not sure if the common keystroke of alt plus N would will or
not in this situation.

Subject: Where is my iPhone in iTunes?

Hi list:

I recently did an earlier restore of my iPhone to go back to an earlier
version of foursquare. However, when plugging the iPhone up to the
computer, I don't see the iPhone in the sources preview list. Mind you that

the computer is charging the phone and I do see the name in the auto player
window that pops up whenever the device is connected. So what do I do to
see the phone again within iTunes? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for leading me in the right direction. Turns out I had to stop Apple
Mobile Device Support and enable it again.
