Hi. What, if I may ask, about the iPhone manual in the iBooks store? It's in Epub, and you should be able to search it with iBooks. You don't mention this in your message. Also, if you're a Bookshare member, you can grab some pretty good i-device manuals there. If you have the PDF file, another option may be to export it as a text file. this isn't always perfect, but it will allow for quick searches and a quick way to find some information.
