Is brightness the same as light? Turn down the brighttness/light and check if 
any GPS app is running in the backround. This is the two most battery demanding 
resource. If normal use i.e. not running a hd movie et cetera.

Hi, all.  Thanks for your suggestions.  I updated to 9.2.1, ran my battery 
completely down, re-charged to phone completely and did a hard re-set holding 
the home and screen lock buttons for ten seconds.  My battery is now performing 
as I would have hoped.  Instead of dropping to below 50 per cent with light 
use, it's gone to80 percent.  Much better.

Also, check your normal battery saving settings, such as display 
brightness, bluetooth on/off and so on. I haven't noticed any increase 
in battery drain, and I didn't notice that any of these settings have 
been changed, but I've seen bluetooth come on and the screen brightness 
get changed to auto after earlier updates.

There is a couple of things to check.

1.  Do you have any apps open other than what you are using?

2.  In Settings under Battery I believe you can choose what programs fetch data 
if you don’t want them all to.


3.  Also I found out that if you run your battery all the way down and charge 
it back up to 100 percent and then do a reset with the home button and the 
sleep button pressed together.  I have found that each phone may be a little 
different.   Supposedly you should be able to press these buttons for 10 
seconds and then the Apple logo comes up.  I normally use a 20 second count 
that way it is sure to reset the whole phone.

Subject: battery draining very quickly
Hi, all.  Has anyone else noticed a significantly greater battery drain since 
updating to IOS 9.2?  It seems to me that my battery goes down faster since the 
update.  I’m using an IPhone 6 running 9.2.  Any thoughts?  Thanks.
