RE: crashed iphone?
I had to do this, soon after I got my Iphone 5s. One afternoon, I noticed I was getting no sound and when I checked with a neighbor, they too couldn't see anything and so when I called the Apple Store in Liverpool, they advised me to hold down, both the home and on-off buttons together, for around 20 seconds Whilst this didn't work ,I plugged my Iphone in, via the cable and plug which came with it and after around 10 minutes or so, it started working again. In more recent months, I have had a similar thing happen, whereby Voiceover just stopps talking altogether but then it will sometimes come back on of it's own acord. All very strange indeed and rather irritating. Regards Paul. The 6+ will take forever charging off a computer, find the proper charger which is much higher output, so it'll charge quicker and come back on, sooner. RE: crashed iphone?
There is always a chance that the battery is completely dead and you also are dealing with a defective cable or USB port. I would definitely try the wall adapter that came with your iPhone, it provides a lot more power than a USB port. Keep in mind that a phone that has been shut down because the battery is completely drained can take up to 5 minutes and sometimes even longer to come on. I would plug it in, give it 10 minutes and if nothing happens I would try a different cable. This is one of these cases where you have to illuminate all variables where something can be wrong and the charger and especially the cable would have to be replaced to make sure they are not at fault.
