Well, there is two areas that I would look at for starters.

Have you looked in to your Notifications for Dice World?

Just go to your Settings - Notifications.
Locate the Dice World game on the list
Double tap on Dice World
Make sure the Notifications is turned On.
Select the Alert type of your choice.
Turn the Sound to On
Turn View in Lock Screen to On

If all of these settings are set then make sure that your Do Not Disturb 
is

On.

To locate this DND. Just go to the Settings - Do Not Disturb and see if
this is turned Off

have 10-15 games going on at once. As a result, alerts come in constantly
for new games.

I expected a little more battery use as a consequence, but
yesterday in the afternoon I charged my battery and by this morning, it

just chalk it up to too many alerts.

Anyone else experience this issue.
