RE: iOS app & Outlook

2016-11-06 Thread Todd Patkus
Sieghard,

Bootcamp is installed in a Mac, yes, and you can do anything using Bootcamp to
make files look Windows. For example, you are on a Mac now, you use Bootcamp
to type a document the same way as you do in Windows but on a Mac. When you
are done, your file comes to me as a Word file.

At Perkins, my alma mater, all computers there are Macs but the staff use
Bootcamp to do the same in Windows. They send hundreds of emails in HTML, so
the readers receive their emails but do not know their emails were done on Macs
under Bootcamp.

I have received hundreds of emails from Perkins like this but never notice they
were done on Macs!

Isn’t Bootcamp used to install Windows on a Mac and then to switch between

run a second operating system on iOS devices.

I saw someone on this list talking about Outlook.

If so, is there a good app for iOS 10.x.x on an iPhone that acts like Bootcamp

I just wonder about it.

Sieghard,

Please NO trivial stuff.

Sieghard, all I need to know to which app you were talking about—mail app in
iOS or something else.

If you mean the mail app in iOS, I do not like that app that much. Many cons
there.

I prefer Outlook where a lot more can be performed while the mail app lacks a
lot. That is it.

Subject: iOS app & Outlook

To all:

I saw someone on this list talking about Outlook.

If so, is there a good app for iOS 10.x.x on an iPhone that acts like Bootcamp
used on Mac that becomes Microsoft Outlook 2013 or whatever where Mail is
composed?

I just wonder about it.

Todd
