Re: iPhone Colors

2014-09-10 Thread RobH.
You summed up the emoticon aspect of the colours, waqrmth in the gold, col
or even hcill with grays and silver. Silver will sparkle somei n sunlight
too of course, but gold does it more warmly.

Mrs really wanted oneo f the gold, but now the 6's are out, she's not said
yet. The rose gold one probably, which is slightly pinkish, a more girly
type gold.

Subject: iPhone Colors

Maybe some of you who have seen or still have some vision can help me with
this. I use my iPhone since the 3gs and through 4S 5 and 5S without case
most of the time and without screen though I have tried screens on and off.
The idea of a gold or silver phone, especially the gold, sounds really neat
to me though I've never seen. It's not that I want to show off to people or
anything; it just sounds like it would be pretty and bright. The words
"space grey" make me think of a rainy day or one where rain is alway
threatening (I do like rain but maybe you get the idea of the mood of the
association). Maybe not a rainy day; maybe just kind of a foreboding or
foggy one. But I know gold or silver is going to show dirt more too. Do gold
and silver really look that cheerful in phones or am I just asking for a
dirt magnet?

Thanks for any advice.

Then God gave me a new heart and life:
His joy for my despairing tears!

The steadfast love of the Lord
never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness."

I'd emagin gold is a metalic gold and silver is metalic silver space grey is
probly like you said a rain cloud kinda gray. I'm still thinking about
getting a case for my new phone just because people on the list
complained about charger conectivity and that's probly because stuff got in
the phone ports. The case would cover all ports when not in use so that's a
pluss for me. Not nessessarly protection for the phone itself. I'm very
careful with a divice that expensive.

I want a case only because of a slip wo I can clip it to my pocket, less
likely to lose it if it is clipped there not just in there.

I will be taking in a 5 and a 4S soon, not having heard the specifics, I may
just go for a 5S if I do it this week, who knows. I know I won't be there
the first day whenever that is, I may be crazy but I am not that crazy.

I'm one who doesn't typically put my phone into a case. I take pretty
good care of my phones, and I want them to look and feel good for myself
and not their next owner. I actually wrote to say though that they do
make cases with the color of the phone in mind that do let you show off
the color of the phone a bit. My wife got a 5C, and they had cases
especially for the 5C that were clear and let you show off the color of
your phone. BTW, she went with a 5s case and just covers up her pretty
green phone with a black case. I bet they have cases for the gold phones
that do let you show off their color.

you get the idea of the mood of the association). Maybe not a rainy
day; maybe just kind of a foreboding or foggy one. But I know gold or
silver is going to show dirt more too. Do gold and silver really look
that cheerful in phones or am I just asking for a dirt magnet?

Thanks for any advice.

I tried and tried to turn over a new leaf.

I got crumpled wads of tear-stained paper

thrown in the trash!

Then God gave me a new heart and life:

His joy for my despairing tears!

And now, every day:

"This I call to mind,

and therefore I have hope:

The steadfast love of the Lord

never ceases;

his mercies never come to an end;

they are new every morning;

great is your faithfulness."

RE: iPhone Colors

2014-09-09 Thread Lynda Ingraham
Hi Cheryl,

I have the 5s in gold. It is glitzy. With that said, I have always put my
phones in a case. As a result when I have sold them back to Apple or
Gazelle, I have received the highest payment. My phones are in mint
condition when I sell them. Before I leave the mall with my new phone, it is
in a case. Personally, I like either the silver or gold.

Re: iPhone Colors

2014-09-09 Thread Billy Maynard
hi Cheryl,

I'd emagin gold is a metalic gold and silver is metalic silver space grey is
probly like you said a rain cloud kinda gray. I'm still thinking about getting
a case for my new phone just because people on the list complained about
charger conectivity and that's probly because stuff got in the phone ports.
The case would cover all ports when not in use so that's a pluss for me. Not
nessessarly protection for the phone itself. I'm very careful with a divice
that  expensive.

Hope this helps.
