You will be able to upgrade to iOS 7 on your 4S without any issues and it
will run well. Even the iPhone 4 gets iOS 7 (some features of course will be
missing since things like Airdrop, for example, require hardware the 4 and
4S don't have), but Rob from the Today in iOS podcast has already confirmed
that his iPhone 4 runs iOS 7 at least as well as it did iOS 6.

I'm excited as well, but I don't expect anything that will rock my world.
Frankly, Apple isn't exactly innovating these days, and other smart phones
and tablets are catching up with them. I sincerely hope that I'm wrong, but

actually huge. Most people can't be bothered with a passcode. In the
meantime the iPhone is the most stolen phone ever and I think this new level
of security along with the kill option of iOS 7 will really put a dent in
this.

I agree. With a jailbroken iPhone you can do everything that this new phone 
does. Of course it doesn't scan your finger but you can unlock it with just one 
press of the home button and have it automatically type your iTunes password 
for you.
There is just nothing really appealing about this to me.

I always use the Gizmodo live blog since these events usually happen while
I’m working on other stuff. I can just leave a window open in the background
and refresh periodically without much hassle. TechCrunch and CNet are pretty
good too.

It appears Apple are not streaming this one, sadly. There are plenty of
Twitter feeds and live blogs, and Apple will put the full video up an hour
or two after the presentation.

 

I've put together a list of reliable sources and will be tweeting a lot of
breaking news on my account, @JonathanMosen. Alternatively, find your
favourite Apple news site and look for a live blog or Twitter feed.

 

It is a pity there is no live stream.
