Re: question on Described Audio with network apps

2019-01-07 Thread Richard Turner

I have not used any of the network apps. But, using the Xfinity Stream app, any
channel that broadcasts a show with audio description just works.

Subject: question on Described Audio with network apps

I am wondering if it is possible to activate described audio on the programs
that have it when using network apps such as ABC, CBS or NBC when using them on
my SE phone or mini Ipad.

I have no problem accessing the programs, but I don't know how to turn audio
description on and off if it can even be done.

Thank you.

Vicki

The setting is under Settings, General, Accessibility. There is a Media section
a ways down the list and you what to turn Audio Description on. It defaults to
off.
You may need to also do something within the app for your network.
