This should bring up a fairly "busy" page,

STORE: (this is all ringtones and alerts)
   Tone Store
   Download all Purchased Tones
SONGS
may be populated with what you seek
pick a song->itunes  normal search
RINGTONES
...

Unfortunately when in VoiceOver I only see
   SOUND
ringtones menu

But if I 3 finger scroll up, I find the same layout as "visual" mode ...
but it seems to default to pretty far down (perhaps an artifact of
something else in my configuration).

RE: setting a different alarm sound in the native clock

2019-01-22 Thread Sherrie Gosling
The same thing happened to me. Open the clock app. Choose Add at the top.
Set up a new alarm timethat is not already included in your list. Choose sound
and then you can go through your songs or ring tones you have on the phone and
choose the one you want. Choose save.
When you set future alarms, even with Siri it will default to your last chosen
song or ring tone.
I think it may have defaulted away from my chosen ring tone because of the last
update I installed. I did not notice since I usually use many of the same
alarm times and they were already set to my preferred sound.

RE: setting a different alarm sound in the native clock

2019-01-22 Thread Paul and Paula Jordan
Hi Keith. I don’t know where to find visual mode. I see an edit prompt in the
clock app itself but all that seems to do is let me add an alarm. I can’t find
anything that says edit sounds. Probably I’m not looking in the right place. I
have checked in the regular settings menu and don’t find any way to set the
alarm sound there either. More detail would be helpful. Thanks.

God bless!
