Re: the Instant Pot bluetooth app works again.

2021-07-24 Thread Caitlyn Furness
It’s called smart cooker.

It works with the no longer made bluetooth model of the IP. I am not sure it
works with other models.. I think there is a wifi version of the instant pot,
though, but don’t quote me!

Good luck!

Hi, I have not been following the instant pot thread closely. I did not
previously owned one. However, I understand the app is back and accessible.
Could you please tell me what the name of the app is in the App Store I’ve

I hate to bring this up again, but I wonder if the app is no longer updateable
again.
I tried updating the app two different days, and both days, it said that the
app couldn't connect to the app store. I have a Done buttor or a Retry button.
Of course, I also have the back button to go back to My Account. The last
update it had was July 7th.
I've been looking forward to getting this working again!

Hi,

You might need to refresh your App Store. Once you're on the updates page,
put focus anywhere in the middle of the screen then swipe down with three
fingers and that should refresh it and show you all of the latest updates
that you have available. Hope that helps.

No you shouldn't have to update your phone. I have an iPhone that is still
running IOS 12 and the smart cooker app showed up on it. It would not update
because the phone needed 13 or higher, but it was there. I'd wait to see if
the app update shows up in a couple of days because sometimes update aren't
rolled out the same day all over the country.

I still have the old app but I don't see any update for it. I didn't update my

Hi Cristóbal and everyone,
For those of you who have used the Bluetooth Instant Pot, did you have to
update your IOS to the latest version and did you have to update the Instant
Pot app? Thanks for your guidance. I can't wait to use my Bluetooth Instant Pot
again.
Best,

Use the instant pot this morning and am happy to confirm that everything works
as before. Didn't have to pare the IP again or anything.

Hi,

You might need to refresh your App Store. Once you're on the updates page,
put focus anywhere in the middle of the screen then swipe down with three
fingers and that should refresh it and show you all of the latest updates
that you have available. Hope that helps.

It was farther down into my updates than i thought but I do see it now
and it's coming. I'll go ahead and update my phone then because I've
skipped out on the last couple of updates. Interesting that they could
provide it an update without it being in the app store. And it's a
good lesson to not remove something you wish was updated, I know I'd
have removed it had I updated. My scale has the same issues, no longer
made and when I get a new phone the app won't be available.

2021-07-07 Thread Julian
Hi,

You might need to refresh your App Store. Once you're on the updates page, put
focus anywhere in the middle of the screen then swipe down with three fingers
and that should refresh it and show you all of the latest updates that you have
available. Hope that helps.

No you shouldn't have to update your phone. I have an iPhone that is still
running IOS 12 and the smart cooker app showed up on it. It would not
update because the phone needed 13 or higher, but it was there. I'd wait to
see if the app update shows up in a couple of days because sometimes update
aren't rolled out the same day all over the country.

If you got rid of the app from your phone like I did, you should be able to get
it back as a previously purchased app. That’s what I did. I couldn’t find it
with an App Store search. But I was able to re-download it because I had had it

Re: the Instant Pot bluetooth app works again.

2021-07-07 Thread Kay Malmquist
I saw the update to the app on my phone this morning. Wonder why they
changed their minds? Just think of all the grumbles they got from everyone
that has the older pots. It wouldn't have been just blind people either.

Well, well… Maybe the folks at Instant Pot got tired of hearing us
complain. Imagine my surprise when I checked for any app updates and had the
smart cooker Instant Pot app show up. Low and behold, it downloaded and the
app works again. The only update mentioned had to do some with security
certificate for it to work with newer versions of iOS.

Sure enough, the app opens like normal again.

Cool beans.

2021-07-06 Thread Mary Otten
For some strange reason, I’m not finding a way to access my purchase history on
this phone. I still have the app on my other phone, I had actually not used it
there. So it’s not connected. I will have to figure out how to pair it. But I
really want to get it back on this phone. And I was sure I should be able to do
so through purchase history or that thing that says apps that aren’t currently
on your phone. But I can’t find any of that. I think I’m losing my mind.

Re: the Instant Pot bluetooth app works again.

2021-07-06 Thread Cristobal Munoz
I did a quick search for two and came up with nothing. The app is called smart
cooker. I don’t know if by any chance you could search for amongst your
purchase history?

I still had it on my phone. Doing a quick search in the App Store, it doesn’t
seem to come up though. I don’t know if it will come up in the purchase history
if you by any chance removed it.

2021-07-06 Thread Mary Otten
Well, I had given up on that app, so I had deleted it completely. Silly me. I
went into the App Store and tried to find it searching for smart cooker or
instant pot. Nothing. I had purchased the app or download it or whatever, I
don’t think it actually cost anything. And now I can’t find a list of apps that
would match that description. Are used to be able to find them, I’m obviously
missing something obvious. I really really want this app back.

  Cool beans.
