Re: the Instant Pot bluetooth app works again.
It’s called smart cooker. It works with the no longer made bluetooth model of the IP. I am not sure it works with other models.. I think there is a wifi version of the instant pot, though, but don’t quote me! Good luck! Hi, I have not been following the instant pot thread closely. I did not previously owned one. However, I understand the app is back and accessible. Could you please tell me what the name of the app is in the App Store I’ve download it several but I’m not sure. I would definitely love to have an instant pot. Thank you very much. I hate to bring this up again, but I wonder if the app is no longer updateable again. I tried updating the app two different days, and both days, it said that the app couldn't connect to the app store. I have a Done buttor or a Retry button. Of course, I also have the back button to go back to My Account. The last update it had was July 7th. I've been looking forward to getting this working again! -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Penny Reeder Sent: Wednesday, July 7, 2021 10:30 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: the Instant Pot bluetooth app works again. Hi, You might need to refresh your App Store. Once you're on the updates page, put focus anywhere in the middle of the screen then swipe down with three fingers and that should refresh it and show you all of the latest updates that you have available. Re: the Instant Pot bluetooth app works again.
It was farther down into my updates than i thought but I do see it now and it's coming. I'll go ahead and update my phone then because I've skipped out on the last couple of updates. Interesting that they could provide it an update without it being in the app store. And it's a good lesson to not remove something you wish was updated, I know I'd have removed it had I updated. My scale has the same issues, no longer made and when I get a new phone the app won't be available. If you got rid of the app from your phone like I did, you should be able to get it back as a previously purchased app. That’s what I did. I couldn’t find it with an App Store search. But I was able to re-download it because I had had it before. Sent from my iPhone > On Jul 7, 2021, at 2:36 PM, Deb Cook Lewis wrote: > > I'm not seeing the update. Re: the Instant Pot bluetooth app works again.
For some strange reason, I’m not finding a way to access my purchase history on this phone. I still have the app on my other phone, I had actually not used it there. So it’s not connected. I will have to figure out how to pair it. But I really want to get it back on this phone. And I was sure I should be able to do so through purchase history or that thing that says apps that aren’t currently on your phone. But I can’t find any of that. I think I’m losing my mind. I still had it on my phone. Doing a quick search in the App Store, it doesn’t seem to come up though. Re: the Instant Pot bluetooth app works again.
Well, I had given up on that app, so I had deleted it completely. Silly me. I went into the App Store and tried to find it searching for smart cooker or instant pot. Nothing. I had purchased the app or download it or whatever, I don’t think it actually cost anything. And now I can’t find a list of apps that would match that description. Are used to be able to find them, I’m obviously missing something obvious. I really really want this app back.
