Thank you for this, but after I found the control center, and raised the volume
to 100 percent, I quickly found out the side buttons do the samething, so
unfortunately this doesn't help, as even when I raise the volume to 100
percent, it still is to low. My iPhone 6 sounds so much better than my iPhone
xr. Go figure! LOL!

There is a volume control in the Control Center. Typically you would touch the
status bar and then swipe three fingers up from the bottom to get to the
control center.
