I'm 65 years old and have been in the library reading service sense I was around 8 so I've read a few books! And, sense you seem to know what I know, I'd take a guess you've read more then a few books yourself. I was planning on getting a Victor Reader Stream 2 as my Victor Reader Stream 1 is getting pretty old. So far, all it's keys work but a few just work. Humanware wants something like 379 USD for it. The free bard app has saved me from having to shell out that kind of money so now I can put that in a new iPhone. We've been sick around our house passing around what seems to be a cold so haven't felt like going down to the AT&T store yet. I'm down to only 3.2 GB left in free space on my iPhone 4 32 GB iPhone. Correct you have to be a US citizen. For example I am a US citizen and I live in Canada so my status with them is a US citizen living abroad. You need to be eligible for NLS library service; so either a U.S. Citizen or a lawful immigrant. You then need to submit documentation if you aren't a client verifying your vision or learning print disability to qualify. Sorry. Unfortunately, copyright laws in other countries don't allow people who are not citizens outside of the U.S. to use BARD. It would be great if that would change.
