The trouble I have is when Facebook puts together many posts from one person
and tells you something like "You are seeing 5 posts from Person X"; at this
point, a right flick will not move on past this type of post for me, and I must
use a 3-finger swipe up to pull down more posts to keep going.

Yes, for right now, that's all I'm wishing to do. Thanks very much for the
advice!
I'll try it out and see if it works. I've tried focus but haven't tried
status report yet so I'll give it a go.
Thanks again!

Re: Facebook on iPhone

2013-04-14 Thread Raul A. Gallegos
Hello. You might try using status report or focus for Facebook. The problem
with these apps is that even though they are a bit more accessible, you do not
get the entire full Facebook experience as you would otherwise with the free
and default Facebook app. If your main concern is to read the status of your
friends and comment or like the status, then perhaps it does not matter as
much. Good luck.

Hey Kayla,
Try this with the native facebook app.
In the upper left corner is the main menu. Open that.
Swipe right a few times until you hear newsfeed settings. Tap that.
Swipe to show most recent. Select that.

They will be in order from most recent first.
HTH,
Thom

Hi all,
Just curious, what is everyone using to get facebook statuses these days?
I've tried voice book but that obviously doesn't work, I've tried focus but
it isn't reading all of my friends' status updates, and I've tried the
regular facebook app but it doesn't put them in order either. Any
suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks very much! Warmly, Kayla K
