RE: Finding a Specific Ringtone

2018-10-25 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
It is also not that difficult to make your own ringtones, all you need is
whatever music you want to use and iTunes or you can use one of many apps which
exist for this purpose, however, in the end you still always will need iTunes
for transferring the ringtone to your phone.
I posted instructions for this a number of times, they were based on an earlier
iTunes version, but I’d be surprised if things had changed that much.
If you search the archives for “Creating ringtones from songs” you should find
the information.

Susie, you could search the internet, that's how I've found a number of
ringtones. possibly you could search on your phone in the app store and
possibly in safari, with a search for ringtones in itunes and another search
you could write ringtones for iphones. of course one could make their own
ringtones using a recording program on the computer.

So yesterday I went exploring in the iTunes store and found a whole bunch of
ringtones. I don’t always care for the electronic renderings of classical
pieces—I’d rather have a real orchestra, but that’s just me. My question is
this: suppose a person wanted, say, the Jeopardy! “think” music, or the theme
from the 60’s Batman TV series, or the first four notes from Dragnet, or the
University of Iowa football fight song … How would that person, naming no
names, go about finding such things?

2018-10-24 Thread Aleeha Dudley
Hi,
You would double tap on the search tab, then type in some keywords, then find
the ringtones heading and double tap on see all. That should get you to the
appropriate search results.
