Unless your settings are set to automatically update any app updates, you can go to the app store then to the updates tab. There you will see app updates and apps that have recently been updated/downloaded and installed on your device. Go into your App Store app and double tap the Updates tab at the bottom right of the screen. The apps that have outstanding updates will be listed at the top. I have the App Store app in a folder, so I also see the number of updates when I flick to that folder. I don't think I see this tid bit of information when I flick to the App Store itself though. How do you know if there are updates to your apps? I know for the software update it showed up in settings so I updated to the latest version of IOS I think 8.3 on Sunday. Thanks for the help.
