THanks for all your suggestions.

I finally found a belt clip case that supposedly works with the commuter case. 
It was on ebay. Will let you know if it works.

I like the idea of a pouch for when belt is not an option. Maybe one can put 
the blt clip on a strap?

The defender clip may be bulky, but I took a very hard fall with the phone
clipped to my pocket, inside the pocket with just the plastic back on the
outside.  I heard it hit the concrete and hoped it had not cracked.  It did
not, phone is working just fine, clip is fine.  Thank heavens I had it
clipped or the phone would have been out in the street somewhere.  Rolled
asphalt at a curb was the reason I went down so hard.  Broke a tooth which
is now fixed, but not the phone in its Defender case.

Did you get a commuter or defender? THe defender did come with a belt clip
but I found it too bulky for my taste.
