Thanks for confirming Les, yeah must just be a radio issue as I am assuming
there are graphics for the box score on the screen that VO is reading.

Those of you who are using the MLB TV app on the Apple TV 4th generation
are aware that the app was made inaccessible after a March update. I
contacted MLB and the rep with whom I spoke didn’t seem to have a good
grasp on the accessibility issues we were encountering. So I went to
Apple Accessibility and a helpful rep contact the programmers at MLB to
alert them to the accessibility issues. I am glad to report that as of
the latest update, we can use the app! Using today as an example, there
are 15 games. The games are arranged in three columns, 5 listed in each
column. Just use left and right and up and down arrows to navigate the
listings. Select the feed you wish, and choose Live and you’re set. You
will now hear the teams given and the current score of the game which we
didn’t have in the third generation. Enjoy, and if you encounter any
difficulty, report here and I’ll pass it on. Now, back to watching my
 Cubs!

Hey,

Actually if you have a MLB At Bat subscription then you do not need to pay
anything further to listen to the radio feeds on the Apple TV. I just checked
as I purchased At Bat on my iPhone and I am able to play the radio feeds on the
Apple TV. Great that they finally updated the labels for the games now if we
can just get VoiceOVer to stop reading the screen while a feed is playing, as
if you want to hear the game you have to toggle VO off.

2016-04-29 Thread Les Kriegler
It's a different app. However, you can choose between the TV broadcasts and the
radio feeds. That's one of the nicest features they added to this app. The plan
is MLB TV premium. It cost 109 99 for the season. MLB at bat is included so you
can listen to the MLB at bat app on your phone.
