RE: Question re: Tribit sound max pro

2021-04-07 Thread Alan Lemly
Hi James,

Joshua posted the link to the case he got for his Tribit speaker. Here is the
link to the one I got from Amazon for my Tribit MaxSound Plus portable speaker:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PJ4F33N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8=1

That is the co2crea Hard Travel Case for Tribit MaxSound Plus Portable
Bluetooth Speaker (Bigger Case) selling for $13.99 at Amazon.

I also bought myself the speaker, as well as a case for it. Both should be
here this coming Friday. I really don't need another speaker, but since the
price is half off, I couldn't resist.

Or anyone wanting a portable speaker check the Tribit Stormbox Micro. Two of
these can be paired for a stereo sound.

This video gives very realistic sound samples and although it is a video it is
well narrated and compares the Tribit to some competitors.

Any bluetooth speaker when your bard book has chapter markup, should
go forward and back when you use the correct button presses. The same
is true with any bluetooth headset or ear buds.

RE: Question re: Tribit sound max pro

2021-04-06 Thread Alan Lemly
Yes, when playing a BARD book with the BARD Mobile app on my iPhone SE 2020,
pressing the multifunction button three times with the jump to button set to
chapters jumped the book to the previous chapter. Pressing it twice jumped to
the next chapter.

Hi Donald,

Glad you're enjoying your Tribit MaxSound Plus speaker. That third from the
left button is the MFB or multifunction button. Below is a table documenting
the function based on the number of presses of the MFB:

Number of presses

Function

Once

Play/pause

Twice

3 times

Once when incoming call

Answer/end the call

Press and hold for 2 seconds when incoming call

Reject the call

Press and hold for 2 seconds

Activate VoiceDial if your device supports it

Hope this helps.

First, sincere thanks to those who recommended this speaker prior to Christmas.
I got it for Christmas and think it is truly a great speaker for the price. It
generates a great sound and more than adequate volume for its size.

Now for the question: As you view the speaker from the front, the left most
switch is power: the second, scan for blue tooth signal; but what is the third
button used for? The fourth is volume down, the fifth, volume up, and the sixth
switches to auxiliary input mode. But please tell me what the third button from
the left is used for.

Thanks.

Oops! It was in the question and answer section. Not in the reviews. There
are 349 customer questions right before the reviews. I only read through about
half and noticed around 15 to 20 complaints.

People kept asking why the BT speaker kept shutting down in the middle of
streaming or listening to music. This was happening usually 20 to 90 minutes
in to using the device. The seller kept telling everyone to contact them for
assistance. Some of the users returned their speakers for replacements that
did work right.

I am still considering trying this BT speaker because a lot of respondents to
the complaints stated that they did not have the problem. And Amazon does have
a decent return polocy.

These speakers are made in the US with very high reviews and they seem to have
excellent customer support. BTW, they are currently selling a one hundred
dollar speaker for fifty bucks.

RE: Question re: Tribit sound max pro

2021-04-06 Thread bentleyj1952

Below is a link to the reviews and the 349 questions.

Never mind. I found the Tribit BT speaker at Amazon. It looks like a very
good deal with one exception.

A lot of reviews complained about the speaker shutting down while in use. If
it wasn’t for that, I think I would buy one.

Thanks.

RE: Question re: Tribit sound max pro

2021-04-05 Thread Kevin Minor
Hi Don.

The 3rd button is used with a phone to move back and forward between tracks in
a playlist. It depends on how many times you hit that button as to what it does.

Also, the last button on the right turns the bass on and off.

Just letting you know.
